Feb 13, 2007, 2:35 GMT
Singapore - Representatives of Singapore companies from the oil and gas industry will be headed on a mission to Latin America later this year, the trade promotion agency said on Tuesday.
The delegation led by IE Singapore will head to Brazil and Mexico from May 4 to May 11, after attending the Offshore Technology Conference in Texas from April 20 to May 3.
More than 50 companies from the city-state have operations in Latin America. The mission will focus on their potential to act as suppliers to Singapore's oil and gas industry or as logistics firms.
Two other oil and gas missions are planned this year, one to Qatar and Abu Dhabi in May and another to Saudi Arabia towards the end of the year.
