OPEC records April oil output fall of 110,000 barrels a day
Jun 4, 2007, 15:07 GMT
Nicosia - Total oil production by the 12 members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in April fell by 110,000 barrels a day to 30.52 million barrels a day, the Middle East Economic Survey (MEES) reported Monday.
The Cypress-based weekly publication said oil production by the OPEC Ten - excluding Iraq and newcomer Angola, went down by 150,000 barrels a day to 26.88 million over the same period.
This was still, however, over a million barrels a day above the designated target output under cuts agreed at the OPEC ministers meetings in Doha and Abuja, MEES reported.
