Singapore - Engineering group Boustead Singapore has clinched a 300-million-Singapore-dollar (197-million-US-dollar) deal to design and build a new township in Libya, the firm said Thursday.
The joint venture includes General Construction & Building Company, Libya's largest government construction firm.
The venture will design and build the new township on a 465- hectare site in the municipality of al-Marj.
The project, with 1,164 single-storey houses, is expected to be completed within two years, Boustead said.
