Long ago, when the union struck Eastern Air Lines, the leaders of the union said (amongst themselves in confident pride) that they did not care if Eastern 'went broke' because there were plenty of other airlines. If Boeing goes broke, most likely the government cannot afford to bail Boeing out. There is more at stake than meets the eye.

Lockheed could buy out the advanced programs and most of us will lose. You might “You Tube” Eastern Airlines to see what is left of the airline started by a Man who received the “Medal of Honor”.

Among some of Eastern’s management, Boeing’s reputation was that one could place their trust in Boeing. Lockheed put the Electra out before it was ready and Airbus attracted “clients” by 'smoke and mirrors'.

Don’t go the way of Eastern, else many will suffer. Go to work and change the World by building the Dreamliner.

..Just call me crazy, but I really do not think the union gives a f--k. Huge wage hikes and rediculously uncompetitive MRP rules, etc. will force them to go overseas to make these.

After that, you can turn the lights off in Seattle.

After all, you don't really think Clinton sold China MFN status, for campaign funds, just for Wal-Mart do you?
