New Zealand dollar hits 75 US cents

Wellington - The New Zealand dollar climbed above 75 US cents for the first time in fifteen months on Tuesday morning to 75.48 cents.
At 8am (1930 GMT) the kiwi was buying 75.37 US cents, up from 74.37 cents at 5pm (4am GMT) Monday. It last reached that level in July 2008.
The New Zealand dollar also reached a 15-month high of 0.5047 euro at that same earlier time.
