Nov 4, 2009, 9:12 GMT
Bangkok - Thai shares rose 2.68 per cent Wednesday on a regionwide rebound prompted by rising oil prices, brokers said.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand index ended at 686.41, up 17.93 points on a modest trading volume of 18 billion baht (537 million dollars).
'Today's market was following the regional rebound in Asia with shares up on oil prices,' said Chaiyos Jiwangkul, an analyst at Country Group Securities.
