US inflation up 0.4 per cent in November
Dec 16, 2009, 14:59 GMT
Washington - The US inflation rate rose 0.4 per cent in November compared to the previous month, the Labour Department said Wednesday.
The increase was led largely by higher prices for energy and health care.
The 0.4-per-cent increase in the consumer price index followed a 0.3-per-cent gain in October.
The largest increase was energy, as the index for gasoline rose sharply, as did indexes for electricity, fuel oil and natural gas.
