Bahrain mobile operator offers free broadband
Feb 9, 2010, 15:00 GMT
Manama, Bahrain - Bahrain's Viva network announced Tuesday certain customers would receive free and unlimited broadband, in a bid to lure in new clients.
The move is aimed at younger customers who use their laptops on the go and at coffee shops.
The wireless modem device will be available to customers who pay extra to reserve special numbers, when the network launches on Wednesday.
Viva is part of the Saud Telecom Company (STC), which last March was given only the third mobile operator licence for Bahrain.
