German auto spare parts group ZF boosts market presence in India

Friedrichshafen, Germany - Germany's third biggest auto spare parts group ZF said Tuesday it was planning to boost its presence in India's booming small car market.
Friedrichshafen, Germany-based ZF said it had linked up with India's Hero Motors Ltd to form a joint venture company offering auto parts at local Indian prices.
This includes producing car axles for General Motors at two plants employing a total of about 100 workers.
Hero Motors is part of the group that owns Hero Honda Motors Ltd, one of the world's leading motorcycle makers.
