Union calls strike at British Airways (BA) for end of March
Mar 12, 2010, 11:24 GMT
London - British Airways (BA) cabin staff Friday called two sets of strikes for the end of March after extensive talks on pay and conditions collapsed.
The Unite trade union said its members would take strike action for three days from March 20, and for a further four days from March 27.
The union has ruled out strike action over the busy Easter weekend in early April.
BA has said it would not allow Unite members to 'ground' the airline and would put in place contingency plans to keep flying.
