Aldi supermarket co-founder Theo Albrecht dies at 88 (Urgent)

Berlin - Theo Albrecht, the billionaire co-founder of the Aldi supermarket chain, has died aged 88, the company confirmed Wednesday.
Albrecht, who was ranked in 2010 by Forbes magazine as the 31st richest person in the world, co-founded the worldwide discount supermarket chain with his brother Karl.
The company said that he died on Saturday in his home city of Essen in Germany.
