OPEC oil price edges above 73 dollars

Vienna - The oil price of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) inched up to 73.05 dollars at the end of last week, the cartel said Monday.
By adding 0.16 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Friday, OPEC's basket price reached exactly the same level as at the end of the preceding week.
The 12-country cartel marks its 50th anniversary on September 14.
