Spanish unemployment drops in tourist season

Madrid - The number of unemployed in Spain dropped by 76,500 people to 4.83 million in the second quarter, leaving the jobless rate at 20.89 per cent, the statistics body INE said Friday.
The fall was the first one in three quarters.
Spain's jobless rate is the eurozone's highest. Unemployment traditionally slides during the Easter and summer tourist seasons.
