Indonesian shares plunge 6.53 per cent

Jakarta - Indonesia's stock market plunged 6.53 per cent Thursday, following a negative global reaction to the US Federal Reserve's pessimistic outlook on the US economy.
The benchmark Jakarta Composite Index lost 241.38 points to 3,456.11 by market close in the afternoon.
