Sep 27, 2011, 9:57 GMT
Bangkok - Thai shares jumped 4.7 per cent in value Tuesday in tandem with rebounding bourses across Asia, brokers said.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand index ended at 946.62, up 42.56 points, after falls totalling more than 10 per cent over the previous three days of trading.
The Bangkok bourse was following other Asian markets in an upward trend prompted by a 2.5-per-cent rise on the Dow Jones industrial average Monday.
'Investors are hoping for a quick solution to Greece's debt crisis,' said Charoen Iampattanatham, an analyst at KT Zmico Securities.
