ECB leaves rates unchanged at 1.5 per cent

Berlin - The European Central Bank left its benchmark refinancing rate unchanged at 1.5 per cent on Thursday.
The decision was in line in with most analysts' forecasts. It came against a backdrop of signs of a pickup in inflationary pressures and slowing economic growth.
