SIDEBAR: Berlusconi caught on camera eyeing Danish leader at summit

Brussels - Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi lived up to his reputation as a womaniser on Wednesday, as he was caught on camera eyeing up his Danish counterpart, newly-elected Helle Thorning-Schmidt, at a European Union summit.

Berlusconi was filmed by the European Council's video service as he approached Thorning-Schmidt and shook her hand before the start of crucial EU meetings on the eurozone's debt crisis.

Cameras then caught Berlusconi glancing down at the Danish leader's figure as she walked away from him.
