Singapore shares up by 2.25 per cent

Singapore- Singapore shares rose 2.25 per cent Wednesday on global cues after upbeat news from Germany and the United States.
The Straits Times Index rose 58.87 points to close at 2673.32, tracking gains on regional markets after lackluster trade on Tuesday.
The exchange recorded 247 gainers against 107 losers.
