SAP wins regulatory approval for SuccessFactors takeover

Berlin - Europe's biggest software company, Germany's SAP, said Wednesday it had won all regulatory approvals to take over SuccessFactors of the United States for 3.4 billion dollars.
The final approval came Monday from the German Federal Cartel Office. The US Federal Trade Commission cleared the transaction earlier.
SAP makes software for businesses. It announced last month it was buying SuccessFactors, which specializes in providing cloud-based services.
