Greek riot police clash with anti-austerity demonstrators

Athens - Greek riot police clashed with hundreds of hooded anarchists carrying clubs and petrol bombs on Sunday as more than 25,000 demonstrators marched on parliament ahead of a key vote on a new round of austerity measures.
The anarchists were applauded by peaceful demonstrators as they made their way towards the parliament building in Syntagma Square.
The black hooded youths could be seen hurling stones at riot police, who responded by firing tear gas in an attempt to disperse the crowd.
