Mexico City - Mexico's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 3.9 per cent last year, in line with expectations, the national institute of statistics said on Thursday.
The world's 14th-largest economy grew 5.5 per cent in 2010, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), but suffered from a global demand contraction in 2011.
Mexico's Central Bank expects GDP to grow 3-4 per cent this year.
