Nov 21, 2006, 15:35 GMT
New Delhi, Nov 21 (IANS) India is set to host the first education fair organised by the European Union (EU), with participation from more than 100 higher education institutions from more than 25 European countries.
The European Higher Education Fair (EHEF), which is financed by EU's Asia Link Programme, will be held here at the India Habitat Centre Nov 25-26.
It will facilitate interaction between Indian students and representatives from the European universities who will provide information on the degrees offered by them, an EHEF release said here Tuesday.
Various seminars will also be held to help students understand study opportunities and scholarship programmes available in Europe.
A symposium addressing issues such as credit transfer systems and recognition of degrees will precede the event.
