It's been over 500 years (1386a.d.) since the Serbian defeat in Kosovo by the Turks. It's a bit mad for Serbia to not accept the reality of an independent Kosovo and to continue to harken back to a 500 yr. old defeat as the basis of their claim to Kosovo.

The Serbs demonstrated what they will do with military power if it lands in their hands as it did in 1991. Anyone remember the seiges of Sarajevo, Zagreb, and Dubrovnick? Have you forgotten Milosovich and Radosovich, the butchers of the Balkans? Don't tell me you've forgotten about the rape centers set by these guys to systematically rape and murder Croation and Bosnian women or the torture and murder of 300,000 non-Serbs during their rampages from 1991 to 1995.

U.S. troops, along with the Croation army, under a NATO mandate, fought Serbian troops on several fronts in 1994 and 1995 to halt killings in the Serb dominated areas.

The U.S. had to bomb Belgrade again a few years later when they refused to halt similar agression in Bosnia. Now they're burning the NATO border checkpoints? The final solution to this problem is to keep the status-quo
as it now exists, with an independent Kosovo.

I guess the USA, the UK and NATO will be rushing to support the Bosnian Serbs when they declare independance? What a bunch of hypocrites the american government and the uk governments are. If they get a few of their soldiers killed in the Balkans over their support of this Muslim Mafia micro state I won't have much sympathy for them.

Leroy,

I believe you have missed several history classes at the time... Now, your history knowledge is sourced from CNN and similar media outlets.

How about you start thinking about how to compensate for genocide of native Americans, butchered by your grandfathers in the most brutal way imaginable.

So, go to your stinky corner and shut up, ignoramus.

Leroy,

Seriously you are an ignoramuis and you are wrongly educated....so i am guessing you are another american. Thank you go educate yourself and don't type ever again cause you have no clue what what is. Kosovo has been part of Serbia for years, it is hardly counted as a province/state of Serbia...please go educate yourself. You will see what will happend if Kosovo decides this as final... they will have nothing apart from drugs and kidneys for money.

I agree with you 100% Nash, guessing your serbian by your name but not sure... was only there for a few years after my birth.

Thanks very much,

Novak

To all the Leroys of the world,
It would be wonderful for you to have some first hand experience with the world of Islam! Toward that end, it would be divine justice for your neighborhood to become completely overrun by radical Muslims; say, a good twenty mile radius or better! Then, in six months time we'll see what your views on Serbian Kosovo are. Please be reminded that 'a little knowledge is a very dangerous thing'. You, and the majority of the West have no idea of what true Islam is all about.....the Serbs, Greeks, and many others have tried to wake you up to no avail. Regrettably, it will be too late when it lands on your own door step. Maybe your first step should be to read a direct translation of the Qur-an from Arabic to English - a translation, NOT an interpretation! Perhaps your view of henchman and victim will be shaken a bit! Until then, please don't insult the intelligence of the rest of us.

So you are basically saying that the 'ethnic cleansing' of Bosnia is justified? That the Serbs have a right to do as they please? Lots of countries lose land. It's part of history, and time to get over it. The Serbs proved this week what animals they are. Destroying their own city of Belgrade! As they like to say 'Serbia is like a Nokia phone...it gets smaller every year.'

JJ - Invest in extensive English language lessons; you obviously didn't comprehend my comments of 2/20. Having said that, it wouldn't be fair of me to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

First of all, Kosova is not a muslim state, it is a laic/secular state. Then it has poeple who belive in Islam, Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant etc...
The history of Balkan is clearly written, and Serbs probably know where did they come from? And what they have done to many countries/to many people so far?
All in all, educated and good people do not need to get angry and be impolite toward anyone who does not agree with their point of view. I did not know that Serb schools are top schools in the world which produce so well educated people who know everything and have the right for everything, while the rest of the world schools produce uneducated persons. Interesting! Serbs are the best in everything, while the rest of the world is stupid and mad.
There is a saying ' if three people say that you are drunk, you should hold on to the wall'
Interesting these people! May God help them!
