Grenoble, France - Four British tourists were injured early Friday when a bus on which they were traveling slid off the road and crashed into a boulder near the village of Mizoen in the French Alps, rescue workers said.
One of the injured was described as being in serious condition, although the nature of his injuries was not provided.
He was said to be the person responsible for the group and was taken by helicopter to a hospital in the nearby city of Grenoble.
The bus was carrying 42 British tourists from the town of La Grave to the Grenoble airport when the accident occurred. The region is home to some of France's best-known skiing resorts.
