Apr 11, 2007, 10:47 GMT
Moscow - US software entrepreneur Bill Gates could be one of the next guests at the International Space Station, cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin has speculated on board the ISS.
'Who knows, maybe some day somebody will find themselves in space on the ISS together with the Microsoft head,' Yurchikhin was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency Wednesday.
At present, Microsoft co-founder Charles Simonyi is visiting the ISS as the fifth space tourist.
According to Simonyis, Gates was thinking about 'conquering cosmos,' Yurchikhin radioed from the ISS. Gates himself has not made public any such travel plans so far.

OMGWTF HAX!! I wanna go.
Or he could see messages like, 'This space craft has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the incovenience, but you need to eject you into outerspace immediately.
Heh, or when the life support/nav computers give the blue screen of death.
Your welcome . Cheap , compatible , easy . Jealous losers .
They should honor him by installing Windows Vista to run the space station during Bill's visit. But I expect if heard that he would cancel the trip for fear for his life.
I respect the heck out of him for creating Microsoft and giving away so much money to make the world a better place. Would have been nice if he had left Microsoft in good shape too, but two out of three ain't bad I have heard! :)

What a golden opportunity for technically oriented people everywhere! Once Bill is up there, why not inform him that Space Ferry 1.0 is no longer supported and he'll have to leave via the airlock! Or, now that he is enjoying the view from the ISS, he'll have to continue to pay a technical support fee to receive permission to use the Station's helium/oxygen mix....or, 'sorry Mr. Gates, you are
using an illegal copy of Space Ferry 1.09 and this program will terminate immediately'.
A new Revenge of the Nerds!
