It says that they found a mass grave but they do not say anything else about it, while implying that it was a filled with Albanians.Ethnic biases in this conflict are blown way out of proportions!

There are a lot of war criminals inside SerbiaApr 21st, 2007 - 02:35:46

So let's catch the criminals. Milosevich did not execute those people. The criminals are free and in Serbia (some also in Russia, Canada, Greece, Ukraine). They can travel all around Europe and their expertize is a threat to anyones neighborhood all around Europe. Please let's be serious about this. Serbia must deliver the criminals or we (EU, NATO, OSCE, Haag) should in there and get them.

Hmmm . . . a 'new mass grave'?? Is this the same kind of mass grave as the ones that were scattered throughout Kosovo during NATO's bombing in 1999 (so we were told) . . . and later never found?? The timing of this 'find' is rather amusing, considering kosovos independence drive is losing momentum. Remember WMD's in Iraq? Well, now we have, again, 'mass graves' in Serbia. What a joke

Anyone who thinks that Serbia is being treated in a biased manner, is right. Absolutely. Just like we treated NAZI Germany in a biased manner 1n 1945. Deservedly so, my friends. These mass graves on Serbian soil could have Serbs in them?!? Some other readers have insinuated such. I like many Serbs on an individual basis, but if one European country has shown a tendency towards accepting brutality towards others and then trying to cover it up (in the 20th century) it was Germany in the first half and Serbia in the second. Germany has shown incredible courage in reconciling its past. Most Serbs are still supportive or in denial over their past. It is intellectual cowardice at best, and complicity in the most brutal, barbaric, depraved behavior in Europe since the holocaust. Wake up guys and smell the corpses...from Slovenia to southern Kosovo. They have Serbian-inflicted torture wounds, Serbian rape evidence, and Serbian bullets in the backs of their heads. Yes, Serbs have been victims too. One common denominator in the Balkans is that all have suffered the results of an acquiescent Serbian populace to the depravations inspired by its own 'hero-victim' MYTH that it has convinced itself of, and tries to sell to the world. Serbia not only harms others, its suicidal behavior ends up getting SERBS KILLED! Mass graves of Serbs? You bet...but not in Serbia, moron. Those are maybe Slovenians, Croatians, Bosniaks, Roma, Ashkali, Bosnian Catholics, Montenegrens, Kosovo Albanian Muslims, Kosovo Albanian Catholics, Gorjane, Macedonian citizens, Hungarians, non-Serb Vojvodinians...Jews (oh, no, that was the thorough Chetnik murder/complicity with the NAZIs---covered up by another Serb myth of helping Jews--wrong era, same Serb Chetnik mentality).
I am of Northern European stock, and my upbringing makes me naturally prejudiced against Muslims and Albanians. But thanks to the Chetniks and leaders like Kostunica/Nikolic/Seselj/Mladic, et al. I have come to very much disregard pleas from a facist nation that seeks to play on my natural sympathies for Christian Europeans. Serbia has lost all of the territory upon which it caused immense suffering, and rightfully so. Kosovo is maybe the last, just step. 20 years ago I would have supported Serbia 100%. But just like no decent European thought well of NAZI Germany's behavior from 1933 -1945, so will the Serbs go down in history. You want to put it behind you? Stop trying to make victims out of yourselves when we find mass graves of YOUR victims on YOUR territory. Shame, shame, shame on you. Grow up and put the lies of your own valor behind you, return the victims to their families for burial and just for once, try to concede that murdering kids, elderly, raping 12 year olds and torturing people to death is not justified, even if they are those 'barbaric Catholics, Muslims, Albanians, Gypsies, Jews....whatever'.
Wake up and join the human race. We are waiting for you. In the meantime, say good-bye to another piece of territory you lost because you are incapable of decent custodianship of non-Serbs (nor over your own...think of the Krajina).

Dear publisher,

It is expected from articles to give a substantial information about the mass graves and their victims rather then reporting that one was found. After the shameful conflict in Kosovo (shameful for all involved parties) many mass graves have been discovered, revealing terrible atrocities committed by Milosevic’s Government who were transporting remains of its victims all the way to Serbia, to cover up the genocide. However, with the arrival of UN a reversed exodus occurred causing displacement of some 250,000 non – Albanians (UNHCR figures). In 2002, mass graves were discovered with remains of Roma’s, Bosniak’s and Serb’s, showing that Albanians have unfortunately gone on a path of retribution. Regardless of reasons, any act of violence should be condemned by International Community and those involved should stand before the Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia.

I understand that this comes from German press agency, but would expect more detailed information from a respected publisher like yourself.

Sincerely,
Malcolm

To joschka fischer

You try and osund intelligent, but you are only parroting what you have heard on bbc and cnn. You say that the german nation has come to terms with its past? Obviously you havent been listening to the news lately. Neo-nazism is on the rise in germany and anti-semitism is at an all out high. The germans are obviously still rabid about the fact that the Serbs kicked their arse in the second world war . . comments like yours clearly demonstrate this.
