America has long assisted the world and it's peoples... Maybe the Russian leader should keep to his own house and the Chinese leader remember where the new great wealth for his country is coming from. American and her close allies should monitor closely this SCO and it's true purpose... that of creating problems with America, not helping it or the world as a whole. What if the United States with drew it's embassies from both Russia and China... stopped all inports from these countries and helped Tawian to become a nuclear power of it's own... for every action there is a reaction. If this SCO wishes to peacefuly work with the world so be it but by consorting with countries like Iran it shows the American people who their friends aren't. Iran would love it if the US pulled out of the middel east, then it could assist in spreading their radical beliefs right to Russia and China's door step... then who will you call for aid when your cities and people are targeted. The US does not wish to rule the world, only exsit in it peacefuly with it's neighbors... and Russia how many missles have you pointed at the world compared to America? How many freedoms hard won by your people are now being stepped on by your leader... Any nation or nations that think they can push or intimidate America will in the end learn this is pure stupidity... spread peace and co operation with all peoples... not just those within your SCO.

This whole block of the world despises freedom, wealth and progress. Half of them are held back by tyrannical religious beliefs and the other half held back by long term oppression of education, free thought and ideals.

China, is motivated purely by economic opportunity. Russia is still licking its wounds and in denial of the fact they are of little relevance in the world today. Lastly, in any conversation, Iran is just a bunch of 14th century Islam-o-fascists who would without hesitation kill any member of this delegation even thinking about converting just one of their citizens to another religion.

That being said how can anyone take anything coming out this conference as anything more than a bunch of smoke and mirrors. I mean really how can a missile defense system, a defensive system, be an overt threat to anyone who did not see their ability to offensively threaten a region as part of their plan or strategy.

Build the system, protect the region from this third world menace who is still trying to figure out the 'magic' of how a light switch turns on a light bulb.

And if they want to impress me with an open dialog and conversation of how to work together to better understand, get along, and tolerate other people and ideas open up trade talks with our hog (pig) farmers and bible manufactures for importation into their country. Thats how we will know when free thought and tyranny is over in their 'accept us while we kill you' forms of government.

SCO CounterbalanceAug 17th, 2007 - 06:18:24

The SCO may have been created to counter D.C.'s influence in an increasingly energy-hungry world; however, the world should not expect positive things in return for granting power to this organisation. I will admit that America under the poor leadership or lack thereof of the Bush administration has lost the world's hope for an honest leader in a dark world.

The SCO has an agenda of energy security for their region of the world, energy to meet their growing needs and they like the United States has done in the past will get that energy at any costs.

The West had best beware and better prepare. I appreciate America's efforts to build a missile DEFENSE system for Europe.

You yanks shouldn't be too complacent!

Your Iraqi adventure is making you sink in a cesspit of your own creation. Thought it would be a cakewalk, eh? Now all your erstwhile foes are taking advantage of the mess you're in. Your housing markets are in freefall, and your buying power has been fraudulently propped up by spiralling debt.

Noboby likes a global bully like Bush's US of A. It's all coming unstuck. Whatever happened to PNAC?

The Cold War Mark II is back with a vengeance. An assertive Russia, boosted by high energy costs, is resuming bomber patrols. I heard they paid you a visit in Guam. Putin is more popular in Russia than Bush ever will be in America, and the good times are coming back to Russia. Heard of Topol-M,

All the sub-prime debt you have been flogging the rest of the world have convinced the Chinese that the trillion plus dollars they've been hoarding need to be converted to Euros pretty fast, before their value is less than the paper they're printed on. Can't wait to see the effect of that, should it happen.

All your macho posturing can't disguise the fact that the Russians have pulled one over you. Strategically it's called a Checkmate!

By the way, I hear there are plans to bring back the Draft. All you macho Americans will be more than keen to serve in Iraq.
