German Jewish community award for Chancellor Merkel
Sep 10, 2007, 16:41 GMT
Dusseldorf - German Chancellor Angela Merkel was named Monday as the next recipient of an award that is given each year to non-Jews for outstanding services to the Jewish community.
The Josef Neuberger Medal is awarded by the Jewish community of the western city of Dusseldorf, capital of Germany's most populous state, North Rhine-Westphalia.
It is named after Josef Neuberger (1902-1977), a former justice minister of the state and member of the Jewish community.
Merkel had agreed to receive the award next year, the community said.
Past recipients include former German presidents Roman Herzog and the late Johannes Rau.

If Merkel had any self-dignity she would never accepted this jewish award.
As oppressor jews keep flooding back to Europe and Germany from the failed aparthied state of Israel, life for Europeans will only get worse.
Recall that after WWI until the end of the Weimar Republic, jews made Berlin the cesspool of Europe. Every sexual perversity known to man was practiced their. Depraved rich jews really took a hangering for young German girls (shiksas) and destroyed their lives as if they were so much garbage.
I have the photos to prove it.
The very popular host Eva Herman who was recently fired from public TV in Germany for expressing a positive opinion about Nazi family values is a testament to the power of jews to silence anybody who dares to think outside the mental box.
