Dec 9, 2007, 18:23 GMT
Moscow - Two people were killed and 13 injured Sunday in a blast believed caused by a terrorist explosive charge aboard a bus near the southern Russian city of Stavropol, police said.
The vehicle had made a stop at the bus station at the town of Nevinnomyske when the blast caused it to burst into flames, deputy police chief for the region Viktor Barnash told Interfax news agency. Many of the 34 passengers had left the vehicle beforehand.
Eight people were killed and over 50 wounded in another bus blast in southern Russia - in the industrial city of Togliatti - at the end of October. That was caused by a mentally disturbed student.
