Germany experienced exceptionally warm and wet 2007

Berlin - Germany experienced an exceptionally warm and wet 2007, the national weather service said Saturday.
In almost all regions, the average temperature was 1.5 Celsius degrees higher than the long-term average, with the first half of the year being particularly warm.
In January and April, temperatures were 4 to 6 degrees higher than the mean in many areas.
Rain and snowfall were above average in many regions, and as high as 50 per cent above average in the east. By contrast, April was the driest-ever April on record.
