Jul 17, 2008, 12:49 GMT
Stockholm - Reigning Olympic triple-jump champion Christian Olsson was set to make a comeback next week at the DN Galan event in Stockhom, local media reports said Thursday.
The 28-year-old Swede has not competed since last year and has battled several injuries since winning the Olympic title at the Athens Games in 2004.
In recent weeks he decided to abstain from several competitions over groin pain.
The DN Galan event is on Tuesday, and will be held at the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
The main draw is the 100 metres pitching current world record holder Usain Bolt of Jamaica against his compatriot, Asafa Powell, the former record holder.
