San Sebastian, Spain - An entrepreneur was shot and killed Wednesday in Azpeitia in Spain's Basque region, media reports quoted police sources as saying.
The two people who fired several shots at the victim were suspected to be members of the militant Basque separatist group ETA.
The victim's father worked for a company participating in the construction of a high-speed rail network which had come under threats from ETA.
The victim was shot in the head and chest in a parking lot near a restaurant where he came daily to play cards.
The gunmen fled.
The construction company had earlier suffered acts of sabotage such as the puncturing of vehicle tyres.

ETA is not a 'Basque separatist group' but a Terrorist Band.
The difference is huge and not to say clearly they are terrorists it is a signal of disrespect to their victims.
And it is not just me who says this but the US Department of State.
