Woman claims she was also abused by Kampusch's abductor

Vienna - An Austrian woman claims she was abused as a girl by Wolfgang Priklopil, 13 years before he abducted Natascha Kampusch, Vienna's prosecution office confirmed Wednesday.
Last November, the woman filed charges against Priklopil, saying that the man had sexually abused her on one occasion in 1985 in his home town of Strasshof near Vienna. The story was brought to light by national broadcaster ORF.
The 44-year-old Priklopil committed suicide in August 2006, on the day that Kampusch escaped him at the age of 18. He had imprisoned Kampusch since 1998 in a dungeon below his house.
However, judicial authorities would not pursue the new case, prosecutor Michaela Schnell said. 'It's difficult for us to do anything because Mr Priklopil is dead,' she said.
