ETA leader captured in Paris

Madrid - A leading member of the militant Basque separatist group ETA was captured at Paris' Montparnasse train station Friday.
Ekaitz Sirvent Auzmendi, who is reportedly the number two member of the group's logistical operations, was carrying a handgun when he was discovered. He is responsible for forging false documents.
The Spanish Interior Ministry in Madrid called it a very important arrest.
He was taken into custody at 4:10 pm arriving on a train from Bordeaux. He was also carrying a laptop, data CDs and a USB device.
