Tokio Hotel manager says girls are stalking his band

Hamburg - Tokio Hotel, the band which has garnered music awards and young-girl adulation round Europe, is being stalked by a group of girls whose obsession has turned to aggression, according to the group's manager, David Jost, on Sunday.
Mass-circulation German newspaper Bild said the stalkers were a group of four French women who always disguise themselves in full-face masks or in Islamic-style scarves and called themselves 'Les Afghanes on tour.'
Jost said a scuffle on Wednesday at a Hamburg, Germany filling station had involved Tom Kaulitz, 19, and one of the stalkers.
Guitarist Kaulitz, whose on-stage head-dress is a peaked cap and headband, reportedly hurled a lighted cigarette at the woman, who then stubbed it out on his car windscreen.
The woman, 21, who reportedly suffered a bruise under her eye in the fracas, said she had been innocently trying to photograph him.
His twin brother Bill, the singer whose androgynous looks and manners are the German band's trademark, was not present.
Jost said in an e-mail to the German Press Agency dpa that the Kaulitz brothers, their parents and the other two Tokio Hotel men were regularly shifting home in an effort to keep one jump ahead of the masked stalkers, who had been trailing them for months.
'They aren't fans. They are militant stalkers. It's not true fandom any more,' said Jost.
He said the Kaulitzes were now filming all the women's approaches, and had complained to police on April 9 about the woman who was later involved in the Hamburg incident.

Thank you for taking the time to look beyond the sensationalism and reporting on what is a serious and frightening case of stalking and harassment of not only the band but their family and friends. I was most disturbed at seeing pictures of the stalkers on the German news site Bild.de wearing masks, I can’t imagine how terrifying it must have been for the boys Mum (who was reportedly attacked by the stalkers) to see that in the flesh.
No-one. no matter if you are a ‘celebrity’ or related to or friends of, should have to put up with being subjected to that.

That idiot totally deserved to get punched! I still cannot believe they physically attacked Bill and Tom's mother! They are NOT normal girls and I don't understand why some people think of them as fans!
I couldn't sleep last night because I was and still am worried sick for them! those girls are really psycho! I wonder what would have happened to Tom if he did get out of his car.

They got an apartment near the guys and when they moved, they moved too.
They have been stalking them for over 6 months and one web screencap showed they planned on killing their best friend in July. They said then it would be '1 down with 6 to go'
I have heard of stalkers before - but group stalking is new.
Hopefully they will be arrested today!!!

Wow, this is a crazy story. Can these women be prosecuted and put in jail? They have crossed the line from just being a 'fan' to official stalkers! They need to get a life and stop creating hell for Tokio Hotel!

I think I would have done the same as Tom much earlier if they had been stalking my PARENTS.

Oh my God... Thanks for reporting the real history. These stalkers are not fans!! And do not have to violate the privacy of the twins and their loved ones in that way. One more time thanks a lot for telling the truth and I support tokio hotel 100% forever.
wait idea, if she had a headdress on and a scarf, mayb he couldnt tell if it was a guy or a girl. I know that in America it is illeagle to hit a grl and mayb in Germany it is to. All i know is that it is devistating(sp.)and totally unfair to the Band Members. I mean come on, there just getting popular and to ruin like this would be a shame. Me and my friend will start a 'strike' to stop it. The stalkers should be arrested for assult, Damage to Vehicals, and Harrasment.
Worse still is that they were offered to have stalking charges against them dropped if they agreed to not charge Tom Kaulitz.
But they also had to agree to not stalk the band anymore. Even though money was probably offered for damages to the girl who was hit, the stalkers agreed to all except to not stalking anymore
They are delusional in their belief that they are fans not stalkers and are still sitting outside of Tokio Hotel's families homes.
Like other stalkers they want to destroy the ones they love because they can't have them. Unlike other stalkers, as a gang they are incouraging each other's derangement.
maybe if bill was there than maybe he would've been able to tell the story. maybe. but then again that might've put him in danger too. and i have absolutly nothing against bill. i love him! and tom!
