Spanish passenger plane makes emergency landing on Canary Islands

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain - An Airbus A-320 made an emergency landing in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria shortly after take- off on Wednesday, airport sources said.
The plane, operated by Spanish airline Iberworld, had 180 people on board and was en route to the Norwegian capital of Oslo.
The plane landed 10 minutes after take-off because of a problem with one of the engines, the sources said.
Firefighters and medical personnel waited for the plane, but it landed without problems. Another Iberworld plane was set to take the passengers to Oslo.
