Karlovy Vary film festival to award top prize

Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic - The Karlovy Vary Film Festival ends Saturday with 14 movies competing for the 8-day event's top prize.
Held in the historic Czech Republic spa town near the German border, Karlovy Vary is one of the world's oldest film festivals with 19 world premieres included in this year's programme.
A total of 226 films were screened at the festival, which has emerged as a major showcase of Central and Eastern cinema.
