Karlovy Vary Film Festival awards (Extra)

Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic - The 44th Karlovy Vary Film Festival presented the following major awards Saturday:
Crystal Globe for best feature film: Un ange a la mer (Angel at Sea) from Frederic Dumont (Belgium-Canada)
Special jury prize: Bist (Twenty) from Abdolreza Kahani (Iran)
Best director award: Andreas Dresen for Whisky mit Wodka (Whisky with Vodka)(Germany)
Best actress award: Paprika Steen for Applause (Denmark)
Best actor award was shared between: Olivier Gourmet for Un ange a la mer (Belgium-Canada) and Paul Giamatti for his role in the film Cold Souls (USA)
Special jury mention: Filip Garbacz for Swinki (Piggies) (Poland)
East of the West Award: Room and a Half from Andrey Khrzhanovsky (Russia)
Special mention from the East of the West Jury: Rysa (Scratch) from Michal Rosa (Poland)
