Belluno, Italy - A helicopter belonging to Italy's rescue services crashed Saturday in the country's north-eastern Alps, killing all four people on board, officials said.
The helicopter was flying in bad weather towards the scene of a rockfall, when it struck power lines near the Monte Faloria mountain, a rescue service official, Fabio Calore, told television news channel Sky TG24.
The bodies of the dead - a pilot, two technicians and a doctor - were taken to a hospital in the nearby town of Cortina D'Ampezzo, news reports said.
