Leonard Cohen collapses on stage in Spain

Valencia - Canadian singer Leonard Cohen had to cancel a concert in Spain on Friday night after he collapsed on stage, reports said Saturday.
The 74-year-old musician became ill some 30 minutes into the show while singing his hit Bird on the Wire before around 3,000 people at the Luis Puig Velodrom in Valencia.
He was taken to hospital but discharged five hours later, according to the reports.
Organizers said Cohen had suffered mild food poisoning and that doctors advised him to call off the concert, the ninth and penultimate in his Spanish tour.
The singer - with a recording career spanning more than four decades - and hits including Everybody Knows and Hallelujah, has been on a world tour for several months.
During a previous performance, he stood on stage for at least three hours.
A final concert is scheduled to take place on Cohen's 75th birthday in Barcelona on Monday.
The reclusive rock poet with the gravelly voice, Cohen returned to the stage in early 2008 after several years spent in a Zen monastery.
His return was also motivated by money troubles - Cohen's longstanding manager had swindled him out of several million dollars.
