Spanish soldier killed in Afghan mine blast, daily says

Madrid - At least one Spanish soldier was killed and five others injured Wednesday when a mine exploded near the lorry in which they were travelling in Afghanistan, the daily El Mundo reported on its website.
The explosion occurred near Herat, where the Spanish contingent of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) is based, the daily quoted Defence Ministry sources as saying.
