Norwegian royals open Facebook page

Oslo - The Norwegian crown prince couple have signed on to the social networking site Facebook, the palace said Tuesday.
Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit have earlier kept friends and others updated about some of their activities via Twitter, another social networking site, Norwegian news agency NTB reported.
The crown prince was Wednesday due to visit Botswana in southern Africa in connection with his capacity as goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
