Dortmund left back Dede undergoes knee surgery

Dortmund, Germany - Borussia Dortmund left back Dede has undergone knee surgery and is not expected back this year, the Bundesliga club said.
Dede, 31, damaged the meniscus and a ligament in his right knee during Dortmund's 1-1 league draw at Werder Bremen on Sunday. He underwent surgery in Bavaria and will probably not be able to resume training until January.
