Arrests made in alleged doping ring in Spain

Madrid - About a dozen suspects in an alleged doping ring have been arrested, Spanish authorities announced late Tuesday.
The people detained include several physicians and pharmacists who were accused of trafficking banned performance-enhancing drugs.
The participants are believed to have distributed illicit substances in Barcelona, Valencia, Murcia and Granada. Drugs were reportedly seized in a raid on the Valencia office of a Peruvian doctor practising sports medicine.
