Saarinen wins 10k race

Kuusamo, Finland - Aino Kaisa Saarinen claimed her third career World Cup win in cross-country skiing on Sunday when she dominated a 10-kilometres classic style race in her native Finland.
Saarinen, 30, clocked 25 minutes 58.0 seconds for victory which also earned her the World Cup lead.
Irina Khazova of Russia trailed by 13.1 seconds in second place. Wibeke Skofterud of Norway came third, 14.7 seconds off the pace.
Saarinen leads the World Cup with 179 points from three races ahead of Poland Justyna Kowalczyk (158) and Petra Majdic of Slovenia (132).
A men's 15km race was scheduled for later Sunday in Kuusamo.
