Jan 6, 2010, 17:07 GMT
Budapest - A family of three was caught within 12 hours of robbing a building society in the Hungarian capital, Budapest police reported on Wednesday.
A 38-year-old woman allegedly carried out the armed robbery while her husband waited nearby in their getaway car.
She told police during questioning that her 50-year-old husband could not do the dirty work himself as he has a heart condition and the 'excitement' would have been too much for him.
The couple's 15-year-old son admitted that he had helped out by hiding half of the loot in a neighbouring house. The rest was hidden up a tree by the father, police said.
The pair were traced to their home on the outskirts of Budapest through the Fiat Regatta they used to flee the scene of the crime.
