Valencia defender Bruno out for a month after training injury
Feb 15, 2010, 17:22 GMT
Madrid - Spanish giants Valencia announced on Monday that defender Bruno Saltor will be out of action for around a month.
Bruno, 29, suffered a badly bruised right shin after a training ground clash on Monday with veteran midfielder Ruben Baraja.
He will miss Valencia's upcoming Liga matches against Getafe, Atletico Madrid, Racing Santander and Barcelona, as well as both legs of the Europa League tie against Club Brugge.
The powerful but technically limited Bruno, signed from Almeria in July 2009, has been used by coach Unai Emery either at right-back or left-back this season.
Valencia are third in La Liga after Saturday's 1-1 draw away to Sporting Gijon.
