India to buy 29 Russian fighter jets

Moscow/New Delhi - India intends to buy 29 MiG-29K fighter planes from Russia, Russian officials told the Interfax news agency Wednesday.
The 1.2 billion dollar deal would be signed on Friday during Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's visit to India.
India had already bought 16 of the same planes in 2004.
