Ammann ends World Cup season with victory in Oslo

Oslo - Double Olympic winner Simon Ammann ended a triumphant World Cup season with victory on the large hill in Oslo Sunday in the last event of the season.
The Swiss chalked up his fourth straight win with jumps of 135.5 metres and 124.5 metres for 267.7 points, a nine-point lead over Poland's Adam Malysz (128.5/136.5m), who was a double silver medal winner at the Vancouver winter Olympics last month.
Andreas Koefler of Austria, this season's Four Hills tournament winner, was third with jumps of 139.5m and 116m for 251.5 points.
The final World Cup points tally after 23 events saw Ammann on 1,649, ahead of Austrians Gregor Schlierenzauer on 1,368 and Thomas Morgenstern on 944.
