Serbia opens borders to visa-free travel for EU citizens
Jun 12, 2010, 11:37 GMT
Belgrade - European Union citizens can, as of Saturday, travel to Serbia without visas.
The relaxation also applies to the citizens of Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, all states outside the 27-member bloc.
EU citizens can enter Serbia with only their identity cards and can stay up to 90 days. The same rule applies to citizens of Slovenia and Bulgaria, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said.
Foreign minors who enter Serbia will have to show either a passport or other identification documents.
